Austin, Texas - Remote Operations announces DICOM initiative
In an effort to continually provide technology options to its clients, Remote Operations announced its Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) initiative for 2006. Remote Operations will provide a DICOM interface to those systems that support DICOM using its newly announced DICOMCoupler™ software.
Remote Operations is already a leading force in HL7 communication with its HL7Coupler software and HL7-enabled SecureFlow Pro system.
About the HL7Coupler:
The Remote Operations HL7Coupler eliminates the need for Information Technology (IT) departments to setup and maintain Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
The HL7Coupler links your HL7-enabled Eletronic Medical Record (EMR) or Radiology Information System (RIS) directly with the SecureFlow Pro™ HL7 system. The coupler uses an on-demand connection methodology to create a secured end-to-end encrypted link for your most sensitive patient information.
The HL7Coupler meets and exceeds the regulations set forth in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
